Can a Panama SA own foreign assets?

Yes. A Panama SA can own assets, bank accounts and companies in any jurisdiction where foreign ownership is permitted.

How many directors are required?

Minimum three directors. All directors can be nominees. The beneficial owner's name does not appear in the public record.

Are there annual reporting requirements?

Panama SAs must pay an annual franchise tax (~$300). Financial reporting to the DGI is required only if Panama-source income is earned.
